missouri state capitol rotunda renovation
The renovation work for the State Capitol Rotunda and surrounding areas included restoration of the existing marble. Guard rails were added and existing guard rails were refinished. Murals at the grand dome and domed lobby pendentives were restored to original condition as was the architectural polychrome work. Damaged plaster was repaired. New historically appropriate carpeting was installed as well as new drapery at the
Side Galleries of the Grand Stair and at the windows of the Legislative Library. New lighting schemes were developed, and existing fixtures were restored.
